Capital formation

glossary · noun

The accrual of capital goods — tools, machinery, infrastructure, inventories — through production and saving. The process by which an economy builds its capacity to produce; in the essay's argument, the virtuous engine that feeds both baker and worker, and the primary target of the fiat order's frictions.

Labour draws an income as a derivative of this process of capital formation.

As used in: fiat-masquerade
